About Our Community
In the Beginning:
In compliance with the requirements of chapter 617 of the Florida statutes, of 1975, Julius Green created a not for profit corporation: GREEN VALLEY ESTATES VILLAS ASSOCIATION, INC.
Green Valley sits in a quiet setting with quite a vast number of restaurant’s, grocery stores, physical fitness establishments, clothing stores, theaters and just shop till you drop knickknacks.
Thirty minutes north is the famous Tarpon Springs and the sponge diving team. To the east is Tampa airport and many stage theaters with all the famous actors.
Now the reason for Florida, the beaches. 20-30 minutes west is Clearwater Beach with all the famous white sand and warm rolling waves .Fifteen minutes to the West is Honeymoon Island State Park with beautiful beaches nature trails and picnic areas. Fishing and Shelling are permitted.
That’s why we are here.
Phase I consists one and two bedroom Villas in nine buildings. Phase II is four buildings of Town homes and both phases were constructed in the 1981 - 1982 timeframe. Green Valley Estates Association inc. had a total of 98 Units of both Villas an Town homes.
The Growing Years:
The welcome addition in 1996 of Phase III, 26 Units of Town homes. The Green Valley Estates Villas Association Inc. membership became 124 beautifully constructed Villas and Town homes. With four acres of "State of Florida Protected Wetlands". Green Valley Estates Villas is one of the best kept secrets in Palm Harbor and is conveniently located near major shopping centers and malls on U.S. 19.
Where we're going:
In June of 2015, the Community elected a board to bring new and innovative ideas while continuing to meet the needs of the the Community. Both the community ands its Board adopted a mission statement that "When the old model no longer works, it's time for a new one".
With that said, the Membership of Green Valley Estates Villas was proud to introduce the 2018 Board of Directors who has volenteered to continue to serve the Community in 2022.

Mike Mayer, Vice President: Hi, I am Mike and I have been a resident of Green Valley Estates Villas for about 30 years. I served as past President, Vice President, and have been a Director on the Board various times in the 30 years that I have lived here. I love this community and want what is best for us all. We have a very productive Board of owners here and we are a fair, and competent Board as well. I am originally from New York until I moved here. I will do my very best to help our community. It is an honor to be asked so many times for my help. Looking forward to another term on the Board. |

Vicki Perlow, Secretary: I have had a very diverse career. I started in the entertainment industry in 1961 and continued until I married in 1972. I had been in Real Estate in New York for a time, sales in jewelry at the famed Fortunoff’s in Westbury New York, I had a theater troupe with my children and 15 others called “ Stage Moms’ Productions” for 10 years to help kids learn the ropes of the business. My Son moved here in 2002 and my Daughter in 2003. I bought a unit for our retirement in 2010, and then decided I wanted to come here and live now! My husband then bought another unit in the same building for his office and as an investment. We love Green Valley and it’s residents. We are a Village like the old days. We help each other, wow what a concept! I have served as a board member and Recording Secretary on several past boards as well as the current one. I am honored to be on the Board of Directors for this lovely community. We have some great plans for our village and I am glad to be a part of it. |
